Advancing South Africa – New partnerships forge opportunities for IREM

South Africa is in a moment of change. Thirty years after becoming a democracy, its leaders once again have made history by forming a Government of National Unity (GNU). The GNU came about because of split election results, which divided the parliament among several parties. In response, 10 political parties agreed to form the GNU and work to promote and move forward mutually agreed-upon advancements for the country.
