Dijalo Property Group helps Daveyton youth perfect their swing
Dijalo Property Group is proud of its recent involvement in yet another initiative geared at uplifting young people from previously-disadvantaged areas.
As a leading majority black-owned and managed property-services specialist, Dijalo Property Group continues to invest in projects and support initiatives that help drive transformation and inclusive growth in the larger South African property industry.
It is for this very reason that we gladly accepted an invitation by Four Degrees Golf Club to help sponsor a highly-successful golf day that was hosted especially for the many young aspiring golfers at Benoni Lake Club on 15 April 2017.
These extremely passionate young people from Daveyton have turned to a sport that demands discipline and perseverance, keeping them focused, productive and motivated members of the larger community.
One of a number of other generous sponsors, we were stationed at “short hole” 16, where we were provided the occasion to display our corporate identity and other marketing materials.
Importantly, it also allowed us to serve refreshments to 80 golfers who are all corporate executives and professionals.
Many of them were also interested in learning more about our large interest in property developments in townships in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
They were so impressed by our presentations that they even invited the “Dijalo” golf team, comprising Reggie Mabogoane, Paul Taunyane, Buti Mathathe and Clement Mabotja, to engage in a friendly competition.
All wearing their navy golf shirts and caps, members of our team certainly did not let go a chance to demonstrate Dijalo Property Group’s renowned competitive streak, and they are certainly looking forward to participating in the next event.
We applaud Four Degrees Golf Club for driving this initiative which, Dijalo Property Group believes, is already having a positive impact on the youth in Daveyton!
