GROUP CHAIRPERSON & MANAGING DIRECTOR: DIJALO PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT
A seasoned property development professional with more than 30 years in the property industry, Hosia Malekane gained experience working for some of the largest property development companies in SA. He joined Old Mutual Properties in 1987 as a Property Manager and completed his first development, Kagiso Mall, in 1989. Dijalo ‘s major project was the R876 million MTN Head Office in Constantia Kloof, developed in association with Eris Properties and completed in 2005. He is currently amassed land parcels in Gauteng, North West, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga to secure development rights with a view to developing various retail, commercial and industrial projects. This self-confessed property aficionado, has no regrets, and is as passionate about the industry as the day he joined.
GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
As Group Chief Executive Officer of Dijalo Property Group, Saul Gumede brings over 40 years of transformative experience in the property sector, establishing himself as a distinguished leader and innovator in South African real estate.
An eminent professional with a robust academic background, Saul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Zululand and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) from the Institute of Real Estate Management in the USA. His expertise is further enhanced by his Property Development Programme certification from the University of Cape Town.
Saul’s illustrious career spans critical roles across major institutions, including Old Mutual Properties in 1993, where he managed a substantial Johannesburg property portfolio of R3.2 billion comprising 308 properties and 1 555 tenants. As a co-founder of Dijalo Group of Companies in 1998 and Dipula Income Fund in 2005, he has been instrumental in driving strategic property investments and developments.
His leadership extends to pivotal industry positions, including Chairperson of the Property Sector Charter Council and Advisory Board Member at Wits University’s School of Construction, Economics and Management.
Throughout his career, Saul has held prestigious leadership roles in key industry associations, including President of the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners, National Vice-President of the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) and President of IREM South Africa Gauteng Chapter. His commitment to professional excellence is reflected in his memberships across multiple professional bodies, including the Institute of Directors SA and the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dr Lazarus Mogudi is a medical specialist and past President of the Medical Association of SA (SAMA); past Chairman Standing Committee on Transformation and Constitutional Affairs Medical Association (SAMA). His business acumen has led him to take up several Directorships amongst others and including: Folang Holdings (Pty) Ltd, Folang Medical Supplies cc, Folang Clinical and Medical (Pty) Ltd, Mpilisweni Consortium, and Mile Investments.
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Paul Maseko is a qualified Accounting Officer holding a CIS Diploma. He completed his Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at De Montfort University in Lester, United Kingdom and is currently busy with his PhD programme focusing on the financial viability of Local Government in South Africa. He consults extensively for a wide range of clients, including local and international, private and governmental organisations. He is the former Managing Director of Resources Focus (Pty) Limited – an organisational development consultancy that specialises in strategically restructuring and transforming private companies and government institutions.

Peter Gray is an Accredited Facilities Professional with SAFMA and a Green Building Professional with the Green Building Council of SA. He began his career as a technical services manager at SEBO Property Services in Mmabatho, later joining Africon Engineering International where he quickly became an Associate Director. His next move was to Old Mutual Properties in the capacity of Senior Facilities Manager.

Nthabiseng Ramoipane began her career in 2005 as an article clerk at KPMG Johannesburg Office. She qualified as a CA (SA) in 2007 and was promoted to audit manager within the firm. During her audit career she was exposed to the following industries within South Africa telecommunications, public sector, consumer products, manufacturing and more. She joined Dijalo Property Services (Pty) Ltd in 2012 as a Group Financial Manager and was promoted to Group Financial Director two years later. In this role, she was responsible for financial administration and compliance of all the Dijalo Group of companies. She changed gear in 2019 and began managing EMA Real Estate Fund. She moved back to Dijalo’s stable in 2024 to head up the property acquisition business, focusing on commercial income producing properties. Current industry leadership positions include Chairperson of lmvelo Facilities Management (Pty) Ltd and Non-Executive Director for Dijalo Property Services (Pty) Ltd. Previous leadership roles include Finance Committee Member for SAIBPP and SAIBPP Board of Director. Her many qualifications include: Bachelor of Commerce Degree – BComm. (Vista University), Honours in Accounting and Certificate of Accounting (Rand Afrikaans University), Part 1 – Board SAICA, Part 11 – Board PAAB, Property Development Programme (University of Cape Town).
